Her most recent project as a director was a short film called THE GOD who SEES starring Nicole C. Mullen. They co-wrote all the music for the film. Gifford is a patron of numerous organisations for children, including Childhelp as well as the Association to Benefit Children which spawned Cassidy's Place and Cody House named in honor of her two children. She is a humanitarian and received an honorary degree from Marymount University in recognition of her work on labor relations.
